Moderators nukecad Posted March 14 Moderators Share Posted March 14 '0x6 handle is invalid' is a Windows error code. Something is stopping Windows from fetching/applying the update. Windows Updates, such as the monthly Patch Tuesday updates, can sometimes cause 0x6 errors. (It was the March Patch Tuesday this week). Others seeing that error in the past have had success with the following: Try downloading the 'Slim' installer from here and double clicking it to install the new CCleaner version. Make sure that your current CCleaner is not running before installing the new one.
