Robisquire1
This week, CCleaner driver updates crashed two of my laptops - the Samsung Book3 using windows 11 was unrecoverable - so is having to be reloaded with a windows - means I lost all my files on that laptop that weren't backup. The other crash was on my older Lenovo Yoga using windows 10 - luckily that did recover itself. Moral of this story - I won't use CCleaner driver updates again!! Bastet
That’s why I regularly backup with Macrium Reflect. The driver updater broke my Headphone driver so that it only showed as a headset (mono sound) rather than stereo headphones. Rolling back the driver or using an even older driver didn’t work so had to restore an older image to fix it. Virginia/Bastet. Windows 11 Pro 22H2. CCleaner Pro. MalwareBytes Pro. Defender. Macrium Reflect Home.
