I'm being charged and don't know how to stop it.

Did you use PayPal when purchasing?

We do see it where an automatic reccuring (subscription)  payment has been set up with PayPal.

If that is the case then, even if/when you cancel your subscription with CCleaner, PayPal will still take a payment from you each year unless you also cancel that automatic payment with PayPal as well.

In those cases it's PayPal who have taken the money and who should refund it, see this for how to cancel a PayPal automatic (subscription) payment:

no i used a debt card

In that case you should contact support:

There is a form here to raise a support ticket: https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general
You should get an almost instant acknowledgement that your ticket has been raised, make a note of the ticket number.

You will get an acknowledgement email too, with some suggestions.
If you want to add information to your ticket then reply to that email, don't start a new ticket.

Be aware that support are very busy at the moment so it may take longer than the 48 hrs to get a reply from a person, but they will get back to you.
