CCleaner for Mac - version 2.7.166 - Automatic Browser Cleaning

Recommended Posts

Trying to set up automatic browser cleaning with CCleaner Pro license but I must be doing something wrong.

Have all browsers set to clean daily but I still see history from 3 days ago and browsing history is selected.

Any ideas and is there no option to clean at shut down of MacOS ?

I'm on a Macbook Pro 2019 and Ventura 13.2

Thanks

Are the browsers syncing their data to the cloud (i.e is chrome logged in, is firefoxsync on)

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Hi @MWA Can you please ensure that Safari data is not being synced to iCloud, using the following steps?

  1. From the Mac Menu Bar, click on the Apple icon > System Settings
  2. Click on your Apple ID located at the top of the sidebar
  3. Click iCloud > move the "Safari" switch to the left, to the "Off" position
