Cubbyfan
Hi, I ran CCleaner on my MacBook Pro yesterday and now cannot reach certain websites on either Safari or Chrome. For example, I can get to ESPN.com but get ‘Safari Can’t Find The Server’ for CNBC.com.
Cubbyfan
The WIFI network seemed to be the issue as switching networks now has the sites responding better. It must have been just a coincidence that I ran CCleaner before getting the error. Checking my other devices, they were all connected to the primary network. Moderators Nergal Posted September 27, 2022 Moderators Share Posted September 27, 2022 Glad you figured it out, thanks for coming back with your report ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
