lmacri
The change log <here> forCCleaner v6.04.10044 (rel. 20-Sep-2022) states in part " We’ve added a reporting tool that will help us to identify the most common crashes and their causes" and after updating to CCleaner Free Portable v6.04 I noticed that new subfolders called \Log and \Setup were created after my first scan. Is there a CCleaner setting I can disable to prevent this data collection, and is this reporting tool collecting and transmitting telemetry data back to the Avast/Piriform servers without my permission, or does it just store logs on the local computer? ----------------64-bit Win 10 Pro v21H2 build 19044.2006 * Firefox v105.0.0 * Microsoft Defender v4.18.2207.7-1.1.19600.3 * Malwarebytes Premium v4.5.14.210-1.0.1767 * CCleaner Free Portable v6.04.10044 Dell Inspiron 15 5584, Intel i5-8265U CPU, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB Toshiba KBG40ZNS256G NVMe SSD, Intel UHD Graphics
