CCleaner causes problems on Windows 11

Hello everyone late at night. I'm from Germany and I use Google translator. I previously had Windows 10, so the CCleaner didn't cause any problems. Now I have downloaded and installed Windows 11 from the Microsoft site. And suddenly I have problems. I don't know if the CCleaner is to blame. Suddenly all browsers including Microsoft Edge and other programs were uninstalled. Have already researched, and what is disabled in the apps. I have absolutely no idea what's suddenly going on, I'm not an IT specialist or programmer. Does anyone have any idea and can tell me what I can do. I sat at it almost all day yesterday and reinstalled Windows 11 and my programs.

Are you using Avira software? In particular their antivirus.

Avira Free Security  is known to be causing apps to be suddenly corrupted if the user runs CCleaner, Bleachbit, or other cleaning softwares.

There is a workaround by going to CCleaner's, or the other cleaning app's, options and "excluding" the "C:\Windows\Temp\sentry_temp" folder from being cleaned.
(Nobody knows just why clearing a Windows temporary folder is causing Avira to corrupt various apps, Avira will have to fix that).

I had Avira for free and CCleaner for free, on Windows 10 I have no problems with it. Neither with Avira nor with CCleaner. Why is CCleaner causing problems in Windows 11.

I have now uninstalled CCleaner. And now I have no problems. As soon as I install the CCleaner there are problems again. Why does the CCleaner cause problems with Windows 11, something is wrong!

I only have a free program because I can't fund a paid program! These problems shouldn't occur, I've used both years with no problems.

I don't think Avira's fault because it works.

What else should I get for free antivirus and what CCleaner alternatives. Thank you for your quick response.

No; as said the root cause is something that has been changed in a recent update to Avira itself.
As you say it used to be OK with cleaners, but Avira recently changed something.

Alternative cleaner? At the moment none - Any cleaner that cleans the Windows Temporary folder will give the same problem if you are using Avira.
The problem isn't any particular cleaner, it's Avira itself.

The built in Windows Security is all that you need these days, most users don't really need a 3rd party AV anymore, especially not a free one.
(There are advanced users who want a bit more protection, and so will get a paid for, professional, Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware addition).

Whoever you ask about "the best" free protection will give you a different answer.
Personally I use the built in Windows Security, and back it up with Malwarebytes Browser Guard (Free) and a weekly scan with Malwarebytes Free.

Sorry that I haven't reported for so long. Had a lot to do. I uninstalled Avira and only installed CCleaner. Which I use from time to time. So far everything is fine again. Now I only have Windows Defender (Windows' own virus protection) I hope that's enough. Thank you for your help.
