Moderators nukecad Posted August 11, 2022 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2022 If you didn't uninstall the 'broken' one then just try installing the Free version that you downloaded. If you haven't uninstalled the old one it will pick up the existing key while installing, just like installing a version update does. (I do reinstalls of CCleaner frequently while testing things, and they always pick up my existing key). If you did uninstall, or if it doesn't pick the key up, then you will need the key and name that you registered. If you still have the email address that you used when purchasing then you can look up it yourself here: https://www.ccleaner.com/support/license-lookup Once you have your key, open CCleaner Free and go to Options>Licence Key>Activate New Key. (Don't worry that it's not really 'new'). Enter your key in the box that comes up and follow the steps: *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
