thedrycleaner
Hi, sorry for starting another thread on this one, but CCleaner is always on (MacOS Sierra 10.12) Even if I shut it down in the activity monitor (end process), it immediately restarts. I don't want it to constantly try calling home or Google analytics (little snitch monitoring) and eating my resources. It's a lovely app and I'm grateful/ happy that it is available for Mac (THANK YOU VERY MUCH) but I like to use it when I use it... PS: I disabled it in Startup Thanks for your help
Moderators nukecad Posted August 5, 2022 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2022 Do you have automatic updating or check for updates enabled? They run in the background and check for updates (once every six hours I think). Smart Cleaning (Clean your browser on a Mac?) also runs on the background. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
