sussertown
ccleaner found duplicate files well. Didn't work on pictures though. 6.02.9938
Moderators nukecad Posted July 28, 2022 Moderators Share Posted July 28, 2022 Works fine on images here, what search options did you have set? I ususally search for duplicate images on Size and Content, so that it finds duplicate images even if the name has been changed. Be aware that even a slight change to an image, such as red-eye reduction, will make it no longer an exact duplicate. Here's a simple setup and results - searching just the 'Pictures' folder and sub-folders for all filetypes, you can see it found a couple where the name had been changed.. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? sussertown
I tried it again. Worked better but I get thousands of duplicates for example that include OneDrive. I don't see a way to exclude paths or programs.
Moderators nukecad Posted July 29, 2022 Moderators Share Posted July 29, 2022 If you look again at my first screenshot you'll see there is an 'Exclude' tab where you can set paths that you don't want to be searched. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? sussertown
I believe I noticed that but it seems a cumbersome method comparatively speaking.
