thoste
I ticked in "Windows Explorer section of CCleaner v5.92 the checkbox "Taskbar JumpLists" and run it on 64bit Windows 10 v21H2. Much to my surprise all the corresponding file entries in the two folders: C:\Users\thomas\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations\ and C:\Users\thomas\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\ are NOT cleaned but be kept after a CCLeaner run. Whats wrong? How can I get rid of them otherwise? Do I really have to add them manually in the "include folder" section?
Moderators nukecad Posted June 3, 2022 Moderators Share Posted June 3, 2022 Aren't those in File Explorer and not on the Taskbar? Have you ticked "Recent Documents" in the same 'Windows Explorer' section of Custom Clean? (If just that doesn't do the job then tick "Other Explorer MRUs" as well). And just to make doubly sure - you are using Custom Clean and not Health Check. Health Check takes no notice of the Custom Clean ticks/unticks. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
