It now takes what seems like forever for Ccleaner to open after clicking on its icon. Before todaay it would open as soon as I click on it. What gives? Moderators nukecad Posted March 19, 2022 Moderators Share Posted March 19, 2022 Interesting because I had noticed CCleaner Pro becoming slower to open over the last few releases geting to 9 or so seconds for v5.90 to open, but 5.91 opens for me in about 3 seconds. No Idea what the difference is and whether it's CCleaner, Windows, different user settings, different AV's/firewalls, or whatever else? I've certainly done nothing in particular that could account for the change. (Maybe Windows, or Windows Defender has?) *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? When I opened CCleaner today it did take around 18-20 seconds for the window to come up - that was because it was doing an automatic update to v5.91 before opening. Now it's done that update v5.91 takes about 3 or 4 seconds to open. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'?
