CCleaner for Mac and 'Recent Items'

Recommended Posts

I just recently updated CCleaner and noticed that a lot of the clean options are no longer available.  In addition, it didn't seem to clean the recent items list for either finder or applications recently used.  Is there some new setting that I must use?

I've got a Mac mini with 12.0.1 on it.

If you have updated to CCleaner for Mac version 2.# then the user interface has changed, and some things have moved from where they were found with v1.#.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:

It doesn't seem like the scan and clean function removes the Recent Items list when scanning the system cache and application logs.

I know that I can go to the menu to clear it but I want the files associated with the applications most recently used list to be deleted.
