pfree85
I have read in multiple places that Recuva works to recover files from Android phones. However, I have also read that alternative programs need to be used. I tried plugging in an old Galaxy phone (S3) and though my computer recognizes the device, Recuva does not allow me to select the directory. Does Recuva work with Android devices? If not, can someone please suggest an alternative? I would appreciate any advice!
Moderators Nergal Posted December 19, 2021 Moderators Share Posted December 19, 2021 Recuva needs a drive letter for recovery. Android removed the ability to become a drive letter many years ago, so recuva cannot work on your Android phone. I don't know any alternatives.
