Requesting Apple Silicon, M1 CPU & Mac OS 11 Big Sur support

Hello,

I would like to request a new build of CCleaner for Mac which includes native support for Apple Silicon, specifically for the M1 CPU, in the form of a universal binary (with both Apple Silicon and Intel support), or else separate binaries for both Apple M1 and Intel Macs, as well as support for Mac OS 11 Big Sur please.

Thank you.

Not being a Mac user I'm not sure what the rest is about;

But Big Sur is supported by CCleaner - it may be reported as OS 10 v16 though rather than OS 11.

That's because Big Sur is both 10.16 and 11.## - a decision made by Apple for legacy software reasons.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:

Aside from the odd OS version numbering (as mentioned my NukeCad above, and for which we blame Apple), BigSur is supported in CCleaner for Mac 1.18.30.

M1 hardware is not supported in CCleaner for Mac 1.x but is in CCleaner for Mac 2.x - which has had great feedback from users over the past few months regarding its improved performance, stability ... and that it finally looks like a proper Mac application.

If you missed the beta programme invitation for CCleaner for Mac 2.0 or 2.1, I believe that this is now closed as 2.1 is due to launch in a few weeks.  Stay tuned for official announcements!
