"Send notifications when there is a new version of CCleaner" is not working

v5.78.8558
I have this option unchecked, so it's not supposed to alert me of a new version, correct?

I import a registry file for my specific configurations, then I install v5.78.8558. Once I run it I see a popup in the lower right stating there's a new version. I check my Options->Updates and this option is unchecked, but yet I got the popup.

What is there to assist with? I'm reporting a bug. I do not want to waste more time on this issue. I've notified you of the issue, so I've done my part as a user.
