Well when I go to claim the cashback of $20 for my order this is what I get: The 30-day claim period for the recent promotion has ended Yes I have registered my product. That's a new offer (it's Black Friday time again) and the claim/redemption page isn't active until tomorrow, 25th Nov. It looks like the "promotion has ended" message has simply been left over from the last cashback promotion, and hasn't been changed.@Dave CCleanerworth making a note to change that wording when a new cashback offer is due the and the new T&C's are put up? Looking at the terms and conditions for the current cashback offer it says: Quote Participants (as defined at Condition 2 below) shall be eligible to claim a cashback reward, as purchasing CCleaner Professional Plus – 2 year subscription between 24 November - 3 December and then redeeming the cashback reward between 00:01 (local time) on 25 November 2020 to 23:59 (local time) and 2 January 2021 (both dates being inclusive) using the Cashback Claims Portal. Cashback is limited to one claim per Qualifying Product purchased. So it's too early to redeem it yet, give it a day - in fact give it two days because it also says: Quote Claims must be submitted online at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/cashback/claim. Claims must be submitted between 2 and 30 days after the date of purchase with the day of your purchase date counting as day 1. Participants must provide the cashback promotion code, that they received in their purchase confirmation, when completing the claim form. Presumably that 2 days is to give plenty of time for your purchase to be recorded/validated with the people running the cashback. The site now says: BUT you will still need to have registered the CCleaner licence key and have 24 hours elapse from when you purchased for it all to work properly. This is, as NukeCad correctly deduced, to ensure that various background things have synced up properly. Admin Dave CCleaner Posted November 26, 2020 Admin Share Posted November 26, 2020 Cashback processing is usually pretty quick if you have paid using a credit card in one of our top currencies (EUR, GBP, USD, etc) since those can be batch processed automatically. Bank transfers and currencies for which we don't have standard price lists (SGD, COP, etc) have to be done by hand and take a bit longer.
