Big Bill
Is there any way I can prevent "Health Check" from cleaning my Recycle Bin? I would like to be able to do this myself as required.
Moderators Nergal Posted October 6, 2020 Moderators Share Posted October 6, 2020 Nope, healthcheck is for non-techy people and is immutable. to use a custom cleaning scheme (such as not cleaning the recycle bin) you must use custom clean (classic ccleaner). You can change the default from healthcheck to custom clean in settings. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
