Parikrama
Hi I have been using ccleaner for over a year now, and I am relaly impressed with this product. Is there anyway to include wildcard filenames in the custom section of ccleaner. Like in yahoo messenger, whenever a user logs in to the messenger there is a filename emptygrps.username that is created in the yahoo directory. Instead of typing in every possible filename to be deleted when I run ccleaner, is it possible to just put in wildcards like emptygrps*, so that any user who logs in to yahoo messenger will have this emptygrps.username file deleted when I run ccleaner. thanks
Moderators Andavari Posted July 10, 2006 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2006 You'd need to make a winapp2.ini entry, that is if one doesn't already exist for it in this thread, you can use the winapp2.ini thread as a sort of template to help you build your own winapp2.ini entry. You can have it recursively scan a parent folder such as 'Documents and Settings' and remove specific things you don't want, however to clean all user accounts you'd probably need to be logged on as the System Admin.
