Veronica Williams
I am sick and tired of not being able to use this software because a screen comes up saying This Product is not authorized in your country! I live in Spain! This has been an ongoing situation for many months, inspite of downloading upgrades and reinstalling the software! Fix this please! Moderators nukecad Posted October 17, 2019 Moderators Share Posted October 17, 2019 This is a problem with your internet provider and nothing that Pirifrom can fix. What has happened is that a number of IP addresses that were issued to 'sanctioned' countries have been reallocated to other countries but the organisation that oversees such things have not actioned the change so they are still being blocked at a high level. You will find that this will affect inatallation/updating of other softwares and not just CCleaner. The best thing that you can do to solve this is ask your internet service provider to allocate a different (older) IP to your router. Another option is to use a VPN to allocate a different IP address. (Which is what people in those sanctioned countries do). *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? Moderators nukecad Posted October 18, 2019 Moderators Share Posted October 18, 2019 Additional- You can use these tools to find out which country the GeoLocation filters say your IP is registered to. Just click on either one, or both, to see where they think that you are located. (My guess is that that they will say Iran and not Spain).https://www.iplocation.net/https://www.ipfingerprints.com/ *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Admin Dave CCleaner Posted October 20, 2019 Admin Share Posted October 20, 2019 In another similar situation a few months ago, some IP address databases showed a user as being in Kazakhstan (which is good) and others in Iran (which is bad). Annoyingly, they all need to be updated to be certain that you won't be red-flagged by various software companies and online shopping sites as being in a "wrong" country - so hopefully your ISP is already taking action on this.
