nietzsche2222
Do not know if this has been posted. Just started having problem with ccleaner not closing, and remaining in systray after closing. Have do a hard click Exit, to get it to close. Why does ccleaner stick around, like active monitoring etc. afraid to say free advertising? is there a new setting i missed to close after opening? Disable active monitoring has disappeared. Have to stop it from running at startup with paid uninstaller, just like I have to do with windows defender. is money that tight?
Moderators Nergal Posted September 14, 2019 Moderators Share Posted September 14, 2019 Turn off smart cleaning which is what monitoring was renamed. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
