Guest
How do you add programs to startup in CCleaner? I can delete them just fine but I don't know how or where to add them.
Moderators mta Posted July 11, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 11, 2018 you don't/can't - that list is a list of programs that are installed that have a component that gets loaded during startup. for example, all the programs installed on your PC aren't listed, just those, like your AV software, or cleanup programs, or monitoring software etc. if a program is listed there, it was put there by that program for a reason - maybe not a good reason which is why some of the entries can be deleted. if you want a program of your choosing to start when Windows starts, you can either create a scheduled task or pin a link to the program into the Start Menu > Programs > Start-up folder. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Nergal Posted July 11, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 11, 2018 moved to ccleaner discussion ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
