I'm new here and don't speak english very well, hope you don't mind at all... 1- About this new feature of CCleaner Hotfix Uninstallers. Does deleting them may somehow prejudice my computer? The only thing I guess is I will never be able to remove them by Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs. 2- Is there some way to restrict to a specific extension while cleaning the custom files and folders? I mean, when I choose Prefetch to perform a clean up, then everything will be deleted, except a file called Layout.ini. Thank you very much. pwillener Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Hello, and welcome to the CC forum! 1. You are correct, you will no longer be able to uninstall any Windows updates. This includes IE7 beta. If you decide to run the Hotfix cleaner, make sure that you have the latest version 1.28 of Ccleaner!
