wenospeak
I recently ran the Cleaner with the Windows/System/Temporary Files box checked. It came up with all my Nero 7 Temp folders and files. I'm not sure that it's safe to delete these files, so my question is two fold: 1) Does anyone know if Nero will function properly when all the Nero 7 unpacked Temp files are deleted? 2) Better still, Does anyone know how to exclude the Nero Temp files from being included in the Scan results? Thanks, Rick
Moderators Andavari Posted April 24, 2006 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2006 I'm not a Nero user however my suggestion would be if you allow CCleaner to clean it's temp files make sure Nero isn't running! To remove Nero from being cleaned run CCleaner click the big 'Cleaner' button and search for 'Ahead Nero Burning ROM' and untick it, CCleaner will then ignore cleaning it. Thanks, Sorry I forgot to mention that I already did that (uncheck Nero in the applications list). However, the files I'm referring to are the temp files that nero leaves in the Temp directory and show up after clicking the Analyze button. There's so many Nero files, it's questionable whether they are meant to be left there or not. I should probably ask Nero, but you know software tech support, they usually answer a question you never asked, he he... Tell you what - I'll go ahead (sorry about the pun) and ask them and post back. thanks, Rick
