circe801
hi. i did a regular scan with malwarebytes last night and the results showed as below in the attachment. i downloaded the update after opening CCleaner and being advised there was an update. i updated from the piriform site. this version obviously from a while ago as i am now on v. 535. now, i usually scan setup download files--but not from trusted products like CCleaner--but i just scanned the file with my antivirus, which is TM. the results are shown below in the other attachment. notes: the setup file icon was different in my downloads folder (i usually delete older setup files periodically) than 532, 534 and 535. i would show you, but TM deleted it. the TM results seem to indicate that there was a hack of the setup download files. i searched the forums and did not find anything about this. anyone? circe801
thank you, hazelnut. now i understand why i was unable to find it when i searched. the article says "32 bit users only". AFAIK, CCleaner uses the same setup files for 32/64 bit. why would they say that then? just curious. i am running win 10 64 bit.
