fitze57
Hello I run Chrome on my PC. I have uninstalled IE on my PC. When I run CC it finds IE temp files all the time. How is this possible? Cheers Fitze.
Moderators Nergal Posted June 10, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 10, 2017 One cannot fully uninstall IE as it is part of how windows displays some applications. Many applications and Windows itself will leave traces using IE, this is what you are seeing ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
