Moderators mta Posted June 2, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2017 for Firefox, go into Tools (or hamburger icon), Add-ons, and tell us what is listed in Extensions and what's in Plugins. or if you know the ones you don't want, in Extensions, Remove/Disable the ones you can and in Plugins, either change the setting to Never Activate or make sure you have the latest versions of them all (especially Flash and java plugins) same principal for Chrome (hamburger icon, Settings, Extensions) Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. Moderators Andavari Posted June 3, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 3, 2017 You could be running different plugins ("extensions") which aren't fully compatible with each other, meaning some could be doing more-or-less some of the same things. As an example of two plugins that aren't fully compatible with each other are: Avira Browser Protection, and uBlock Origin.
