dhouse
Every time CCleaner is updated it resets my preferences, specifically cleaning my Office history. Is there a way to prevent resetting my preferences every time the software updates so that my Office history is NOT deleted?
Moderators Nergal Posted September 28, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2016 This should not occur in a normal update. Are you first uninstalling it before installing it? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. dhouse
I'm not uninstalling, just letting the upgrade do all the work. This happens on two computers I have CCleaner installed on.
