Moderators Nergal Posted August 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2016 Browsers must be fully exited before cleaning. This includes any programs which use the rendering engine of the browser. There is a wide variety of applications (and windows apps) that keep edge and explorer items locked, including but not limited to mircosoft office, windows store apps and secunia PSI Also edge cleaning Edge is slightly broken if you've taken the Anniversary update. Yhe developers are working on a solution. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
