Moderators hazelnut Posted June 4, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2016 In light of all the reported hacks and the comments from TeamViewer (they blame users security) anyone who uses it to help out relatives etc should make sure that ''Start with Windows'' is unticked in the settings. That way it cannot run remotely when the machine is unattended. (General tab in TeamViewer) While it can be agreed that large numbers of compromised passwords are for sale on the internet and lots of folk use the same password for a number of places, there is still a lingering doubt as to why other folk who have good security practices in place are getting hacked.
