Moderators Augeas Posted March 29, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2016 No, it is not possible to recover overwritten files. It might be possible that there are edit copies or some other versions still accessible. Have you tried a deep scan? What sort of device are the files on? Moderators Nergal Posted April 18, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 18, 2016 I have the same problem - the file was on a USB memory device what same problem? An overwritten file? If so the straight forward answer given should be enough for you, did you have some further query about the overwritten file? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
