Moderators Nergal Posted October 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 18, 2015 Open internet explorer and turn off suggested sites It's likely that ccleaner is removing/clearing it but windows recreates dat files as empty. It's probably 5kb in an empty state. If turning off suggested sites doesn't work run analysis in ccleaner find suggested sites in the details. Then right click it and choose exclude. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
