Tedspcclean
I use CCleaner regularly and a strange thing is happening. I run 3 pcs, two on windows 8.1 and one on windows 7. On Win7 the cleaner empties the recycle bin no problem. On both win 8.1 machines, until a few months ago it reported it had emptied over 4,000 items, even if I could only see one or two in the bin. In the past month or so it is now reporting emptying 16,000 ++ items from the recycle bin every time I do a clean I can watch it processing lots of data, but no actual names on the files it thinks are in the bin. Any ideas?
Winapp2.ini
Try deleting the $recycle.bin folder from the root directory of the drive. This will reset the recycle bin winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
