nodles
As the topic title says, it would be nice to have an option in CCleaner to clean files to Recycle Bin instead of permanently delete them (shift+del). It could be unticked by default. Edited March 5, 2015 by nodles
Moderators Nergal Posted January 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 19, 2015 [Opinion]Defeats the purpose of ccleaner junk removal[/opinion] The developers read and consider all viable suggestions. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. nodles
I've seen this option in other similar products and I find it useful sometimes (double check before permanent removal etc). Also useful while testing if CCleaner affects system performance / fixes software issues/sluggishness, easier to restore the files from the Bin.
