dasadler
I just D/L & ran CCleaner - was amazed that it deleted 667 MB of files. Was also surprised to find that my recently used file list from Word, Excel, and other applications were gone including the ones I had pinned to recent document list. Is there a way to configure CCleaner such that it would not clean those recently used files that I want to remain? In other words, the ones that are pinned to the list? Moderators Nergal Posted October 27, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2014 Uncheck the recent documents on the second tab of ccleaner's cleaning section (applications) under the office heading ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
