Moderators mta Posted September 2, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2014 obvious question I know, but have you ticked the box to Empty Recycle Bin. and have you unticked the 2 Only delete files.....24 hours options in Options/Advanced? (maybe a typo, but the latest version is .4808) Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.

Sounds like you are describing a long time Windows bug where, even though the recycle bin empties the icon remains the "Full Icon" Can you confirm, as well can the original poster reply if this is the case with you, else @ghamden will need to start a new thread. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
