JFrog
After a scan some files are listed in green as "state excellent" Then I select them and use the right click to "secure overwrite" them (7 or even 35 passes), it performs the task with confirmation After that, I do another scan and some of these files appear as they were before the delete I see no differences between them et those for which the delete fonction has performed perfectly I never noticed that with the precedent versions
Moderators Augeas Posted July 25, 2014 Moderators Share Posted July 25, 2014 It's probably because a state of excellent means that the deleted file has not been overwritten by another file. A second scan will find the same file in the same excellent state. Recuva cannot tell that the data has been overwritten, and cannot overwrite the file name and details. If you are in advanced mode look at the file header, it should be zeroes.
