OAM
I want to remove all tracking cookies or files that craigslist uses that are placed on my computer but I don't know how to identify CL cookies or signature files placed on my computer. I want to make sure I'm using CClearner to it's fullest abilities. I was told this software is great for this, but CL still sees my computer and limits my posts - removes them. Moderators hazelnut Posted November 15, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 15, 2013 If craigslist has certain terms and conditions which they consider you have violated then I'm afraid CCleaner won't be able to help you circumvent them. Derek891
I doubt their website is using tracking cookies to figure out who users are, since they could easily be erased by the user. They are probably identifying you by your I.P. address. The headers on the individual packets tell the tale my friend, and just like your fingerprints, are not easily altered. And using a proxy will more than likely fail since they probably have a blacklist of all the proxy servers people have tried in the past. Start every day with a smile and get it over with. - W.C.
