Can you just install IE 6 SP1 over top of IE 7 beta 1? Try that out. Save a tree, eat a beaver. Save a tree, wipe with an owl. Every time a bell rings, a thread gets hijacked! ding, ding! Give Andavari lots of money and maybe even consider getting K a DVD-RW drive. If it's not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!!!

But I was wondering if you could download the previous version via my link and run the installer, and maybe it would simply replace the beta version. Save a tree, eat a beaver. It doesn't work. I swear though that I've seen discussions on how to remove IE but I can't remember which board I read it on. Well, a program called IEradicator removes IE from versions of Windows before 2000, but if you try it on 2000 or XP, Windows will restore the removed files as fast as the program can remove them! FYI -- I'm not the one using it. (Thank God for that) Why others are is beyond me, and now they're regretting it. Quite a few people have BETA 1 and from their reports I would suggest that if any of you come accross it to...RUN!!! I wonder why Windows doesn't let you "downgrade" it though? I mean, it is a beta, so the option to remove or replace it should naturally be included. With Windows Media Player, you are given the option to "roll back" to a previous version. So if you don't like version 10, you can go back to 9 or 8. Is there any chance that the beta browser gives you that sort of option? Maybe it is there, but they phrased it unusually? Save a tree, eat a beaver. Save a tree, wipe with an owl. Capman
What about trying this: Open Add/Remove Make sure there is a tick in the box at the top called 'Show Updates' Scroll down the list to 'Windows XP ? Software Updates' You should then find it listed below there. Thats how I got rid of Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2.
