Harm Millaard
I need people to submit a snapshot file to submit parts of their system info and be available on a website for others to see. For security reasons I don't want all snapshot info, only the sections: Summary CPU RAM I specifically don't want Network info, since that will keep people from submitting their snapshot data. The Operating System section does not contain relevant info for my purpose, so I want to leave that out as well. How can I disable the other sections when creating a snapshot and prevent that info from being published?
Moderators Nergal Posted April 3, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 3, 2013 this has been previously requested but has yet to be implemented by the developers. +1 ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Harm Millaard
It should be easy to implement. Instead of the menu choice: Save Snapshot... it should offer a submenu with tick boxes to select which sections to use in a snapshot, for example:
