Win7 Gadget

Hi because this utility already knows how to get the info from our hardware.

I think it would be great to have a gadget that links to speccy's internals to grab the info and display on our desktop as a win7 gadget.

I hope you guys that made speccy do this, it will increase your userbase and exposure a lot

while I understand the interest, Microsoft has cautioned all Window Vista and 7 users (as well as developers) to cease using gadgets as they are a major security liability for a computer and can allow remote usage of you pc by malware/botnets

That said using Piriform's software directly would not be any safer as using it through their gadget would it?

the gadget interface allowed for DLL injections, it was not that the program (a speccy gadget for instance) is unsafe it's the running of any gadget which is unsafe
