Doctor Jazz
I did a reinstall of Windows 8 (x64) this evening. I installed the latest version of CCleaner. It worked for a couple of hours and then it hung while I was trying to run a clean up. No matter I thought. I'll uninstall it and reinstall it. That did the trick in the past. I uninstalled CCleaner and restarted my computer. I couldn't run the install file for CCleaner. No response at all. I figured I would give up on this s**t until a version of CCleaner is released that will actually work with Win8. I tried to delete the install file and I can't. It tells me that a file is open in ccsetup24. I can't see anything in task manager. I've even powered my computer down for 10 minutes and I still can't delete this install file. WTF is happening?
