But that takes far longer than just defragging the files, in addition to killing drives faster. Wouldn't it be much better if it set quick defrag for the default action when the button is pressed, & let users select full defrag if they wish? Benefits: - Defrags will be much faster (for single & multi-drive defrags) - Drives will last much longer - People will be happier * Errors will probably decrease, & there will be fewer complaints.
