Moderators Nergal Posted November 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 21, 2012 http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=35458 does this help? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. keith1937
Newbie I was never that bad to start off with. I took my computer to a good Computer Technican who ended up re programing every thing by doing that it completly removed all the unnecessary programs and gunk and that gave me a fresh start. I also have the Paid Defrag and they helped me will all the settings and after a few runs I am at 0% every time now. C Cleaner is all finished under 30 seconds, the defrag takes a lot longer. Every night before I turn the computer off I do the house keeping only thing I dont do is the Defrag that is done on a weekly basis. Its like every thing you must do all the regular maintenaince to run a good computer. Keith :)
