I have a slow computer, but I'm still surprised at how long this is taking.

Your 7200 rpm HDD is fast, but the weakness is an old system, slow CPU, and having to defrag 1.5TB.

Expect a long defrag time unless you opt for the speedier file defrag. Tick ☑ Filename RECo7.png and click Defrag Checked.

I encourage repartitioning, so that each smaller volume can be defragged or wiped as needed, thus saving time.
