Dutchglory
for new feature to be aded to ccleaner is "remove Hibernate files" they can become big, and tak a lot of disk space... Dutch Edited December 11, 2011 by Augeas Just a little too much self-promotion.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 12, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 12, 2011 Nope this seems dangerous and silly. To clear hibfil.sys just turn off and then back on hibernation ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. nodles
I partially agree with this, also the hibernate file can't be placed on an other drive/partition (unlike pagefile), which sucks for small sized drives, like SSD.
