akira6968
Just a suggestion here. Pretty deep, maybe too much, but maybe a good revenue source too. A service that allows a PC repair guy like myself to subscribe to, w/ a monthly fee. My customer goes to your website, downloads/runs speccy, then uploads their results back to your website, which then notifies me of my customer having done so. you can expand on that, there seems to be a lot of possibilities, like a special link I can provide a customer which ties their results to my company, maybe even making your website transparent to the process (no offense, but you know how consumers can be, wary of redirects, viruses, etc....less is better oftentimes). my originating thought was on facebook, making a broad offer to friends for upgrade special, just run speccy and send me results, i'll then tell you what you're PC is eligible for... dunno how far outside of what piriform wants for speccy, its just an idea. thx for reading
Ishi
Not bad you know. I love computer maintenance tasks. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE. Make it a FaceBook APP and you will lead your clients into very bad habits at a malware infested corner of the Internet. Using CCleaner as the intermediary between yourself and customers would "lead them not into temptation"
