xraytekca
ssd's are super fast but very prisy! case in point, doing a wipe free space will damage an ssd, dont know how, but it just does.......
Winapp2.ini
SSD's are flash memory, so they have a finite number of read/write cycles before they "wear out" so to speak. Wipe Free Space takes up a ton of write cycles, shortening the lifespan of the drive. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators Nergal Posted August 9, 2011 Moderators Share Posted August 9, 2011 configure what? I don't understand the entire question Do you mean the "run ccleaner when windows starts"? if so that has Nothing to do with your drive being SSD or HDD ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
