John Grey
I just checked and AFTER using ccleaner the list of cookies in the left column is still there.... (using Windows 7 ultimate & firefox) How is that possible?
Alan_B
Not only must Firefox Application be closed, but also all Firefox processes which sometimes linger or stick, possibly including plugin-container.exe It may be affected by Firefox Addons Check with Task Manager, processes Tab Flash Cookies are a possibility. Is Adobe Flash Manager checked ? Failing that more relevant information please, Win7 + SP1 ? Firefox version ?

Few days ago, I installed opera, as it works for certain TV stations as a proxy. In the the ccleaner "application" list opera has its own place now, and there "cookies" was not clicked. I have been using ccleaner for many years now, and nothing like that ever happend before, that is what confused mne.... Thanks again.
