ten
I don't know how to add music on a CD with Record Now. At each time I must suppress the music that is ever on the CD. Thank you for your help and excuse me for my english!
Glenn
I use the basic version of Sonic RecordNow (or did you mean another application?) and as far as I know it can't add music to a CD-R already recorded in Audio CD format. I don't know if the enhanced versions can. You have to assemble the music again (rip previous tracks from the CD and add new tracks in RecordNow) and burn it as a complete image. I've always burned to a new CD-R since there normally wouldn't be enough remaining recording space. Are you using CD-RW's?
Moderators Andavari Posted November 8, 2005 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2005 I don't know if newer versions of Sonic RecordNow (now owned by Roxio) still don't allow the removal of 2 second gaps, which makes it useless for gapless CD's. If you are wanting to create audio CD's the easy way without any 2 second gaps, with automatic decoding of various formats (mp3, ogg, etc) give Burrrn a try, it only creates audio CD's. Glenn
Actually the other way round ... Sonic Solutions bought the consumer products division of Roxio Inc. They seem to be using the Roxio brand for consumer products and using Sonic for their professional studio products. I think you can now adjust the gap down to zero but haven't even looked. We old farts are used to the silence between.
Moderators rridgely Posted November 8, 2005 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2005 I'm with andavari. If all you need is audio download the program he said and just drag and drop the songs you want. Then put in a blank cd and press burrrrn.
